Clean all the Snow Capacity Guide: How the Bag Limit Works
Understand the Clean all the Snow capacity system: what Max Capacity does, what happens when your bag is full, and how dump-point distance changes its value.
Quick answer
Max Capacity is an official gamepass that raises your bag limit so you dump less often. It does not clear snow by itself and it does not suck snow — it holds more of whatever tool you already use. A tool with a small tank dumps often, while the same tool with a larger bag dumps less often and plays noticeably better.
What the capacity system is and how the bag works
Snow is collected by tools and held in a bag or canister that fills as you clear. Max Capacity is an official gamepass whose store text reads "unlock MAX bag limit to clear areas crazy fast." It does not clear snow by itself and it does not suck snow; it holds more of whatever tool you already use. A Vacuum or other bag tool with a small tank dumps often, while the same tool with a larger bag dumps less often and plays noticeably better.
What happens when the container is full
A full bag stops you from picking up more snow until you dump. Play reports describe the bag filling quickly with the starter setup, and one run narrator notes being unable to pick up snow because the backpack was full. A full tank also slows the player down and makes them waddle, which is why the tools tier list advises dumping the canister often rather than carrying a full load around. A full container combined with opening a new area is called out as a common School Map failure.
Reported base bag sizes are inconsistent. One play report says capacity upgrades reached a maximum of 60 snow, while the same narrator earlier states the starter bag held 25 and a purchased upgrade took it to 40. Treat the exact base figure as currently inconsistent and check your own bag count in-game before planning around a specific number.
Capacity, dumping frequency, and route planning
Capacity mainly changes how often you have to break off and dump, so dump-point distance decides how much a bigger bag is worth. School dump points sit farther apart than the suburban bins, which is why Max Capacity jumped in value when the School Map shipped. The leftover-snow guide warns against opening another hallway when the bar is already yellow, and the School guide warns against carrying a full canister up the stairs "for later." In co-op, Max Capacity users dump less often, so the etiquette is to let them through when they finally arrive at a vent.

Capacity is not clearing speed
Max Capacity is not a tool and does not clear snow. The gamepass page states plainly that the pass does not clear snow by itself and that a huge bag with a shovel is still a shovel. The tools tier list frames it the same way: capacity is not a tool, but it changes every tool, because a Vacuum with a tiny tank dumps every twenty seconds while the same Vacuum with a max bag looks S-tier. Upgrade order on the tools page puts capacity after unlocking the Vacuum and upgrading its radius, and the gamepass page says to buy Max Capacity second, not first.
