Clean all the Snow: Snow Capacity and Dumping Guide

Learn how to dump collected snow in Clean all the Snow, when capacity forces a dump during a run, and how to plan routes and shared vents so dumping does not stall your clearing.

Quick answer

Dumping is a tool-dependent action: a Vacuum bags snow and a Snow Blower pushes drifts into dump points. On PC the interact binding is E, and a wiki tools note warns players to keep controls handy so they remember that E dumps snow and does not always swap tools. Because capacity is finite, dumping is not optional cleanup — it is part of the run loop, and a full tank makes you waddle.

  • Vacuum bags snow; Snow Blower pushes drifts into dump points.
  • On PC, equip and interact use E; primary tool use is left mouse hold.
  • On mobile the Vacuum prompt becomes an on-screen E or Use button.
  • On console, use the right trigger for the equipped tool and the context button to interact.

Where does collected snow get dumped?

Dumping is framed as a tool-dependent action. You buy a Vacuum to bag snow, or a Snow Blower to push drifts into dump points. Shared dump points exist that several people can use at once, but they can also jam: one vent can jam if twelve people teleport into it with auto-clean, so the practical rule is to walk up, dump, and leave, and not to Molotov the dump pile.

Dump piles matter beyond the drop itself. Leftover snow can hide behind bins, vents, and your own dump pile, and the far side of a dump bin is a common missed spot. Layout also changes the rhythm: School dump points sit farther apart than suburban bins.

When must a player dump?

Dumping is driven by capacity. A full tank makes you waddle, so dump the canister often rather than carrying a full load around. On the School Map the rule is fill, dump, return — do not carry a full canister up the stairs "for later." Opening a new wing with a full tank and nowhere to dump is a common School fail.

Dump frequency also shapes how a tool feels. If your Vacuum "feels bad," check dump frequency before you buy a second lane tool. A Vacuum with a tiny tank dumps every twenty seconds and looks weak, while the same Vacuum with max bag looks S-tier.

Tips

Build the fill-dump rhythm

A two-minute practice drill: equip shovel, clear a 2x2 patch, dump; equip Vacuum with E, fill half a tank, dump; strafe a Snow Blower lane into the same dump; then look behind you.

Order the job by surface

Treat hard surfaces first, clutter second, monument last. Opening a new wing with a full tank and nowhere to dump is a common fail.

Read the co-op bar before expanding

At 95% co-op needs inspectors, not more dumpers. If the bar is yellow, do not open another hallway.

Tool-specific collection and dumping behavior

Mistakes to avoid

Problem
Vacuum play that ignores the tank
Fix
Aim at the base of a drift and walk backward as the tank fills, dumping often.
Problem
Scattering snow with the Snow Blower
Fix
Straft in lanes and push toward a vent; do not scatter snow into a still-counted grass patch.
Problem
Trusting the Snow Plow for every surface
Fix
It makes a wide pass on asphalt but misses curb snow that still counts.
Problem
Tossing a Molotov next to a teammate's dump pile
Fix
Cook a throw into the densest mound, then vacuum the leftovers and keep throws away from a teammate's dump pile.
Problem
Running a Snow Blower at 98%
Fix
A Snow Blower that "helped" at 98% often moved counted snow onto a clean rectangle. Holster it; Vacuum is the tweezers.

Max Capacity and dump downtime

Max Capacity is the cheapest pass and the easiest to misunderstand. Official text says it unlocks the MAX bag limit to clear areas crazy fast, but this pass does not clear snow by itself. It makes Vacuum (or any bag tool) dump less often. Buy it second, not first — a huge bag with a shovel is still a shovel. The suggested Robux order puts Vacuum first and Max Capacity second.

In co-op, Max Capacity users dump less often, so let them through when they finally arrive.

Co-op dump etiquette and vent jamming

Failure reasons

Problem
A shared vent jams
Fix
One vent can jam if twelve people teleport into it with auto-clean. Walk up, dump, leave. Do not Molotov the dump pile.
Problem
Nobody knows a teammate is dumping
Fix
Use short chat calls such as "dumping" so nobody blocks the vent, and "stop blower" when asphalt is black.
Problem
Auto-path scripts turn vents into a teleport rave
Fix
Scripts that auto-path through a 12-stack make dump vents look like a teleport rave. If that happens, assume Secret is dead on that server and find a clean lobby.
